HELLO,
EU citizens can get in visa free. This rule has been in effect ever since the Eurovision song contest has been held in Kiev in 2005.
The only restriction is your timescale. If you want to stay for over a certain period, you need to get a visa as Ukraine still isn't an EU member.
I think the maximum an EU visitor can stay visa free is 60 days. So if you wanted to stay for three months, you'd need a 60 day visa. This can easily be extended at any police station.
