Private Blog, Public or Private Map?

I've set up a private, password protected blog.

I'm afraid that's not an option we provide. Of course, any embeds within your blog will be private but there's still the tiny chance someone stumbles on your map page itself some other way.

Thanks for the very prompt reply.

I'm a little surprised since your service is so comprehensive and the map is basically a publicly available travel itinerary. I can imagine some people would be hesitant to publish their upcoming travel itinerary publicly.

Could you explain in more detail how someone would be able to stumble across it?

I can certainly understand your point of view. Most trips are actually added post-trip and don't include a lot of detailed information (hotels/times etc), so I think that's why this question hasn't come up before.

The only way someone would stumble on your map would be via your profile, which they might be able to find by googling your name (you can remove your name from your profile easily enough by editing it). Without your name on the profile, they'd ever have to be googling your Travellerspoint username (unlikely I imagine!) or just randomly happen to click into it (from this thread for example). A pretty tiny chance I'd say...

Thanks for the detail. Very appreciated.
