I live in Shanghai, but have no car, and my parents are visiting the same time you are here - so sorry, can't volunteer my services.... BUT... you will most likely find a guide where you are staying. Most hostels / hotels have a travel tour desk and can arrange a guide for you.
You will most likely find that if you stay near a Metro in Shanghai you will be able to travel to most of the recommended sites (Bund / Yuyuan Gardens / Pearl Tower) relatively easily. Also taxis are reasonably priced, and if you get an app like Shanghai Taxi on a smartphone (which incidentally works without internet access) you will be able to get around without too much trouble.
