I'm pretty much new in this and i'm not sure if i'm doing it right...
So here's the thing. We are a couple from Greece and we are planning to travel around the world in our RV starting with Asia the next couple of months. Everything's set but one tiny little thing! It's the first time we are doing something like this and we want get everything right. The problem is that we are not sure whether it's safe or not because there are some countries that are supposed to be dangerous (pakistan - Iraq etc. ) and sibiria is to cold! We want to reach China. Does anyone have a clue how to get there safe? Probably not all countries are dangerous, so we'd like some help!!!
You need to do some research on driving across borders. I pulled a few websites up on and trying to into China. Another problem is getting a Chinese DL. Very hard to get as a visitor. I also have included a of a couple I met here in Vegas who are going around the world on motorcycles. Read about their adventures crossing into China and other borders. Contact Lisa & Simon if you have questions on your route. I think you really need to make sure this idea is feasible for you 2. Good luck with your planning.
How big is the RV? Seems to me the problem will be those mountain passes in Central Asia - not exactly freeways on level ground. By the way, it can also get quite cold at 10,000 feet in Afghanistan!

Well, it's not that big, it's a small one... do you think it's gonna be a problem? We will probably go from Russia to Kazakhstan to china... We won't pass through Afghanistan. Though we have some problems driving through China.
