Hi I hope someone is able to help me with some advise. I have been offered a chance to re-locate with work early next year but I don't have a clue what Auckland is like or where is good to live. I'll be working for an airline out of Auckland's main airport so I would need to be able to get there in say 1 hour. I won't know anyone so it's important for me to make friends awell. What area's are good to live that are on transport links to the airport and also lively with bars where peope go out? I don't want to live in a family area I would like to be somewhere lively and fun. How easy is it to meet people in Auckland? I'm used to living in London where the place can be pretty lonely so I was hoping seems like Auckland is a lot smaller it might be easier.
