working in aus????

i want to work in australia, not sure how long for, i know you can only work every three months..so maybe six months doing work there

A deposit for a house sounds like a great target, but looking for short term jobs and funding holidays / life in the interim can be expensive. If you can get a temporary office job (e.g. secretarial, admin, data entry) you might find this pays better than bar work, or even as a pool guard.

Alternatively you may be able to find farm work which includes food and accom, and then save more.

Cities like Sydney are notoriously expensive, but there is a lot to do there! If you are in the country, consider that you might get bored with limited activities or social outlets...

But whatever you do save will be converted favourably to GBP as the AUD at the moment is quite strong.

Hope that is helpful!
