Hey, i'm heading to Perth solo in less than 2 weeks and the thing i'm most concerned about is finding accommodation, just wondering if anyone could advise me on the best places to search? Also what should I be expecting to pay per month? I'm not picky I would just like somewhere clean and safe in a decent location, any advice would be greatly appriciated!x
Use the Accommodation tab at the top of the page for a huge selection.
Australia is quite expensive for accommodation, and particularly in big cities like Perth.
For a full month you might even consider renting an apartment which will give you kitchen facilities, etc, but which will normally need one month's deposit up front.
One month in Perth? Is there a reason? I found a week more than enough. If you decide to go elsewhere (a LONG way) by plane, book your flight before arriving to save money.
Try Gumtree website if you want to houseshare. I'm going out to Perth in Jan 2013,plan on staying for 6 months but I'm staying in a hostel for a couple of weeks first then finding an apartment. Usually cheaper if you houseshare as well.
