Hi guys im planing to travel to sanfrancisco on middle of Oct.
After a few days,id like to down to LA and want to see the fantastic view of west coast
I guess driving a car through the pacific hwy would be the best way
Unfortunately,im not confident to drive..
Could it be possible to see the view on the bus or train ? What would u reckon?..
I actually Hope to meet nice people and rent a car and drive down to LA together!
Anyway please give me some advice!!
You see very very little on the train, and absolutely nothing on the bus. You want to be able to stop and smell the ocean - only possible with your own wheels (be sure to take Highway #1 and not #101 or #I-5). October is a great time to see California, and don't rush - take at least 2 days for that drive.
Since you are by your own admission not a confident driver then do not try to drive it yourself.
There are other options to catch a ride... hook up with some other people and share costs, etc.

Sounds like a good option for a tour bus. A bit of searching found me this one which sounds like just the ticket

There's probably other companies doing it as well. We have a similar route here in Australia between Adelaide and Melbourne on the great ocean road and buses like this are generally quite popular.
Maybe you could rent a motorbike or scooter. If you rent a car, it would be nice to have a convertible, and cruise down to LA with the top down.
Since the OPer is not a confident driver a motorbike or scooter would be a really, really dumb idea.

Well, yeah, I guess if she's not a confident driver, a scooter or motorbike wouldn't be such a good idea. But I still think a convertible would be the way to go, if you are renting a car. Enjoy that California sun! The wind in your hair. And you could get a better view.

My plan is renting a car and go to yosemity national prk for 2days and drive to 17miles or futher it would be more fun than take day tour things..
Even though i cant really drive, i can be a good companion
If anyone feel like to travel for a few days with me please let me know
