Hi everyone,
Im staying in sydney surfside backpackers over christmas in bondi. they have another hostel in coogee too. there are loads of hostels to choose from but this one offers alot of additional help with travel planning. find work. setting up accounts and other bits needed if your seeking work in australia. But there are plenty of hostels to choose from.
I'm also stopping at surfside but only over Christmas. New year at a hostel in Sydney.
I would make sure you get your visa through before booking, unless you have med issues or anything line that or plan to work in healthcare then it should be straight forward but still wait till u have ut.
Booming your hostel may be hard as surfside accecpt only 7 night or 9 night over Xmas or new yr min stay, font book stuff tho until u have visa. Hotels will be expensive, hostels in the city will be hard to.come by but that's only cause I have looked for a friend.
Yorkiegirl ready for the beach party ? ,
Surfside does look like it's going to be expensive.. cheapest room I can find is $104 pp/pn! As YorkieGirl said though that comes with all the additional benefits of getting set up once over there.. Think i'm gonna look around some other places and see if there's anything much cheaper.. doubt it though.. looks like a tent might come in handy haha!
Fox president. im uber excites for the beach party been chatting to others staying at the same hostel at the same time. they all seem really nice so i think its gonna be a great xmas and beach party.
It is expensive so me and my friend will be camping through out tue rest off our trip. christmas and new uear was going to be our main break to relax and have a good time
Smackie - I think if you book directly through the surf side website you'll get a better deal on the price if you book through someone like hostel world you'll be paying around $100 pn, as mentioned they do a minimum around a week covering Xmas. You'll be lucky to find somewhere in the city now for New Years tho.
The weather was so bad today I was just staring out the window at work and all I could think about was being on bondi beach in the sun, can't wait!
Mate I was the same.. walking to work in that weather. Couple of months of hard graft and it'll all be worth it though! Bevs on Bondi Beach haha I'm too excited!
Yorkie I was looking into camping over New Year and then getting a hostel for the remainder of the time but I don't want to miss out on all the events in the hostels at New Year!
