If you work for 3 months doing agricultural work, such as fruit picking, you can apply for a 2nd year visa.

That's for people going on a working holiday to Australia - the OP is going the other way and heading to the UK from Australia.
on the working holiday visa for the UK (nowadays known as the "youth mobility scheme"). It has all the details on how to apply and conditions of visa.

Where can I do fruit picking in the UK? I thought the WHV was for 2 years? or is it up to 2 years if you do fruit picking?

Again, fruit picking applies to visitors TO Australia.
As per the link from mojorob the youth mobility scheme allows Australians to live and work in the UK for 24 months.
