hi my names bhrian im 23 and bored in scotland. im looking to go around asia and possibly further. im looking for advice on where to go. i want to see the jungles, maibe volunteer. ive heard of helping build walkways through the jungles? i would also like to visit all the amazing beaches and islands and party! any advise on where to go and what sort of travel package to get would be appreciated. thanks

First of all, save some money! Then start looking for cheap airfares to Asia. Young guys can get by pretty cheaply once there. You won't need a travel package, just do it on your own. Plenty of info out there on Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, VN. Do your research and make a plan.
Go over to 'travel companions' forum and post your plan and time frame. Other members might want to meet up with you while in Asia. Good luck.

I am planning to fly Bali right after Thanksgiving for two weeks and then off to Thailand through New Years. Let me know if you will be there during this time.

Hi Brian, you may consider visiting Boracay Beach in Aklan, Philippines... one of the magnificent islands in the country... it also ranked #1 as the World's Best Island of 2012 by Travel + Leisure. -snip- hope you'll visit the Island soon!

thanks for the advice. so if i just buy a flight over there and see where it leads? i like the idea of not having any plans and just going with the flow. il have to save up a bit so wont be going until easter hopefully.
