I'm hoping to be in Sydney for Christmas and New Year. Nothing booked as yet, although I hear I need to get a move on as everywhere is filling up FAST!!! Have you booked anything yet?
I will also be on my own so like you said would be great to get to know people before hand. Would definitely put my mind at ease

yea was very difficult most are either to expensive or full!
well im joining the oz experience after but was told to stay in sydney over xmas otherwise i would get no accomodation so im there for 11 nights!
you should book up though have you booked flights or anything???

i wont be working so just going out on a tourist visa! im spending xmas and new yr there and then catching the oz experience bus up the east coast!
You best get booking soon, best to do it without thinking about it thats what i did

Me and a few of the other guys on here are staying at Surfside Bondi Beach. Im staying there just over christmas but a few of the others are staying longer.
I think there's a minimum booking but im not sure how long it is now.
I was the same as you too and still am. But you'll regret it if you dont go for it
