So I'm heading to Asia in 5 weeks I'm currently in Aus, already have accommodation booked for new year in koh pangyan but not sure where to be for Xmas? I don't want to spend 2 weeks in kopangyan. Don't want somewhere quiet, I want a busy party place to be honest ha. But also want the place to be nice, nice beaches etc.
Any of u guys that have been to Thailand over the Xmas period could u please give me some suggestions. I'm stressing out that I've left it too late to book for Xmas now so need to decide asap.
Hey Rach,
Nice to meet you!! My name is Tanu and i am from UK. I have been to Thailand few times, its a great place to go lots of beaches , parties and fun.
I am also planing to go Thailand during Dec month may be there for 2-4 weeks.
You have beautiful places like Phuket amazing beaches with white sand , parties and nice food.
You can plan for Chaing Mai/ Pattaya beaches with fun
Not sure whether you have heard about the full moon party... its a great part in Thailand and I think you should visit and join that party .
May be we can plan a travel as mostly I would be a solo traveler as my friends have different plans.
Let me know
take care
have fun
Tanu
I would recommend Koh Phi Phi. It's beautiful, with lovely beaches, yet completely overrun by partying tourists. Sounds like it fits your bill. Phuket is also a good bet. Samui is also next door to Koh Phagnan,s o you might want to check it out too.
phuket! maya bay-- camping overnight!!
chang mai is the best place there go there and must take insurance while traveling
June Jeau beach in Koh Tao... but shhhh haha.
Or come volunteer with us over Christmas... we need people to help take care of a variety of animals... msg if interested!
rach87,
What accommodation have you booked for NYE on Koh Phangan? How much did you pay per night?
Thanks,
Dan.
TatJ, I'm not sure how to msg you but a friend and I would be very interested in volunteering with you, helping out some animals, over Christmas. We're in Ao Nang right now and will travel to Samui this weekend, we're there until the 21st then we are looking for somewhere to go after.. Can you send me some details? Thanks
