Where are you off too Kev? I set off travelling on my own, so yes I know what you're going through! It turned out to be the best thing I'd ever done, and I still can't get the travel bug out of my system. I'm sure wherever you go you'll have a blast too! There are loads of solo travellers so you shouldn't have an issue meeting other like-minded travellers if you want to.

Im in the same boat. i love it and if there is a way i could travel enjoying life and experiencing everything that the world has to offer i would!
In a similar situation aswell, i'm 30 next year, so going too take a career break hopefully, thinking of doing a rtw flight through sta travel (jumbo jetsetter) and basing my trip around it, the plan is 4-6 months and setting off oct/nov next year

I too am in th same boat. I am 36 and have been planning a 3 week trip throuhout Eastern Europe in May 2012. I just wish I could take a year to travel the world. I guess I will have to do it in segments.
