Well... I live in Finland.
What do you want to know?
Finland is nice place becouse you can drink booze and nobody wont care too much if you are in tipsy.
Both countries are extensible, but that you probably allready know about.
In Finland I would recommend to visit Helsinki, see it's nicest views. And then go to Tampere, have dub step / drum n bass / etc party, and then maybe continue my journey to towards lapland. And maybe take few days hike on the mountains.
Or if you dont want to hike, but you like nature I would go to fishing.
there are many places where to fish in Finland and many of these places you can make some sort of camp for half free.
If you are interested coming to Finland and I'm around that time maybe I can show you around, if you are interested.

Of the two I think I prefer Norway, but you need a car to see the country properly. Huge areas of wide open spaces and it is actually hot down south whereas even in summer you can get ice up north. Lots and lots of great scenery and small towns as well as some large ones.

Actually i wanted to know what activities can i Do in the 2 countries, and transportation. Is there no other way to travel then by renting a car?
I think Ill spend like 4 days in the country i choose , i know it's not too much but i dont think i can stay much longer
and for ville-fin i heard that it was great taj mahal, hope to be there one day!
Buy train ticket for that time.
Interrail works also in finland, then you get moving between citys pretty easy.
Also busses goes but you basicly need to know where u r going. (Like a town name or something)
I dunno, both countryes are really beatiful and diffrent.
4 days is too less to go from south to north.
Things to do and no car, I'd say Finland.
Norway is wonderful but more expensive. I believe there's more English speakers in Norway too.
I've only been to Helsinki for a short time - very nice, but I found the people a little strange. Norwegians were much more outgoing. Wonderful food in both.
I think the diffrence between people speaking english between Finland and Norway is like 1-2 % more in Norway than in Finland.
Yes, people are little bit strange and inside going in Finland, but you just need to have a local contact and then you are not outsider of anything.
Everyone of my friends speaks english and some of them are foreigners.

First of, this is my first post (and late in the thread) so hello everyone!
I'm from Sweden wich means I live in between Norway and Finland. I have visited both, Norway for the first time last summer. I fell in love and will be going there two times this upcoming summer by car. I simply drive from Sweden.
To topic:
Finland is a lot more like Sweden in terms of nature. Kinda flat and a lot of lakes and lovely archipelago. Norway is about stunning scenery, fjords and mountains. You can't really describe how beautiful it is. It's more expensive than Finland but trust me, it's worth it .
There is a reason National Geographic have mentioned Fjord-Norway as the most beautiful place to visit in the entire world.

Well I've been to both but I went back to Norway nine times so you can see which I prefer!
Oslo is a slightly more interesting capital than Helsinki, I think, but the good bits are on the west coast by train and boat. Buses work too.
Expensive but worth it!
