Well finally got confirmatin email of where im staying for Christmas in Bondi! Very excited i cannot wait! Is anyone else staying in the same hostel by any chance? Im staying at Surf side backpackers.
I was about to book that hostel but then I read that they require a 9 night minimum from certain dates over Christmas and New Year's, and I only wanted to stay for Christmas night. Did you have to book that many nights or were you able to just get one?
Me and my Friend wanted to stay there for two weeks any way so the one night booking thing wasnt a problem for us. Sorry i cant be more help, you could always just email them and ask they may offer the one night if they dont fill all their beds but im not sure.

Im staying there over X-mas. I cant actually remember when im booked from but i think im there from the 23rd - 27th December.
Looks really good and from the confirmation you get looks like there's loads going on over Christmas too.. Another guy from here will be there too.

I see on their site that there is a 7 night option! Maybe the 9 night minimum was just on the booking site I was on. Think I might book at least a few nights anyway, genuinely just have no clue what I'm doing, haha.

Hey im going to melbourne on the 9th but hoping to go to bond i for xmas and new year, any1 know how much roughly the flights would be, i would rather book when im there hopefully il bump into ppl as im travelling alone? Thanks Lesley
Ok so I checked out the extras Surfside offers around Christmas and it looked pretty awesome, so I booked it for 9 nights, Dec 23rd-Jan 1st!
Thats Great!! Yeah im just gonna stay somewhere more central in Sydney on the 27th and will probably be in the Botantical Gardens to see in the New Year

Lesley, im sorry im not too sure i have not looked at internal flights yet but i cant imagine it would be to much, unless you mean flights from home to sydney in stead of melbourne, in which case iv paid just over 900 pound to fly to melboure and it was about 200 more if i wanted to fly to sydney
