Planning a trip to Aus. Leaving the UK on the 3rd Jan 2013 and arriving in sydney on the 5th to then start travelling up the east coast. all arranged with STA travel! soooo scared of flighing alone, need a travel buddy! due to only having a month ive been advised to do a guided tour rather than the Oz Ex! anyone else planning on going in Jan? would be great to chat
Don't be scared, it'll be more than fine hun (although I've never done it myself either lol)
I'll be there on the 9th, but Sydney's quite an expensive place to stay until then lol.
Have you met anyone else in different threads that are going in Jan? I'm travelling 9th Jan to 18Feb - fly out of cairns to Bali - and have bought the greyhound pass to cover my bus travel up the coast.

Two Scots guys heading to Melbourne with a mate around the middle of January, planning on staying there for a few months then heading up the East Coast, anyone around Melbourne at that time give me a shout!
