Will be starying off in singapore for 4 nights as have a old friend that lives there then plan to make our way up malaysia to loakawi sorry if its misspelt :-D. We would like some advice on the best places to visit on the way up. Im game for anything so give me your best suggestions
How long have you got in Malaysia? I spent a month there and visited KL, Melaka, Taman Negara, Cameron Highlands, Penang and the Perhentian Islands. Taman Negara was the highlight for me as it was amazing experiencing the sights and sounds of the jungle. The Cameron Highlands are also really worthwhile especially as you are into hiking.

You could probably do a lot of the stuff I did in the time you have but miss out Penang and the Perhentians seeing as you'll be going to Langkawi.
