My girlfriend and I are planning a quick trip into Morocco while we are in Spain and Portugal this summer (May-June). Any suggestions are welcome:

How long will a quick trip be?
If it's just a few days, it might be better to just hop over from Spain into Tangier for a few days, maybe visiting another town or so just south of there.
If (much) longer, I would advise one city and visit some of the countryside as well. Just rent a cheap car and travel from Marrakech towards Ait Ben Haddou for example or the Todra Gorge. And if you really have time: visit Erg Chigaga or Erg Chebbi for some amazing desert landscapes.
