Next month I am going to Germany with my husband. I am 26 weeks pregnant. What would be best for me travel insurance or health insurance? I am not sure does German government provide health insurance for traveler? One of my German Facebook friend recommend me to visit -snip- . I got some basic idea about German government insurance policy. But i am looking for more. Can anyone help me to take the right decision? Please help me.
Where are you travelling from? And for how long? There may be some kind of reciprocal goverenment agreement with your home country, but being pregnant you want to be sure all bases are covered.
I would investigate travel insurance from your home country to ensure that you are covered, and make sure that it is comprehensive enough to cover any pregnancy complications and hospital stays.
