I'm looking for anyone that ever stayed at an all inclusive resort in St. Lucia. There are a few that I was looking at and I'm having a hard time deciding. It's not that I don't know I want to stay in St. Lucia - its if an all inclusive here is worth it. While I know the rooms and facilities make some of these places expensive, I'm not familiar with the cost of other things on island and can't seem to find it or know if they exist.
For instance, if I were to stay at a hotel, and then do the activities and pay for them on island - is it the same or does it work out to more or less than staying at a St. Lucia all inclusive? Some of these are price (400+ per night) so I'm wondering if money is better spent doing it all here, or if its better to get a cheap hotel and then go diving, hiking, bike riding, take yoga, pilates, fitness classes, etc outside of the resort. I'm starting to think that those activities don't exist in St. Lucia and I need to be at a resort to do some of them - do they do regular fitness classes out there and where can I find some? How does the price compare?
