Avignon and Nîmes are supposed to be lovely.

Nice, Saint Tropez, Juan les Pins, Avignon, Aix en Provence, Arles.
The other places are just large cities.
Biaritz is far away.
Nice is a good place to stay and I'll agree with Avignon and Arles too. If you want to go off the beaten track a little then the Camargue region (Mouth of the Rhone) is fascinating - white horses and marshlands. Have a good trip!
You are covering quite a lot of ground. I'd say that you might want to skip Biarritz, it's quite far from the rest, even though it is a great town. Also Toulon is not worth it I think. Not the nicest of cities, and with so much great stuff to see in the area I would skip Toulon.
Aix an Provence is great, so is Arles and Avignon, I really suggest visiting one of these places, they are a bit more authentic provencal then the rest on your list. You should also try to visit some smaller towns on your agenda. Cassis, close to Marseille, is a nice option. There are local trains going to smaller towns. But check your maps before going, some places the train station is far from the city.
Since you are going in the summer you should try to see some beaches! There is a lot of good places with wonderful beaches, usually these towns are great fun during summer as well - lots of people going there, and great nightlife. I did a quick search and found this list: -snip-
Be aware that St. Tropez is expensive. Great place, but only if you can afford it.
Someone suggested Carcassonne, and that is a great place to visit. But it might be hard to get there, and it is a bit off the rest of your agenda. If you do decide to go there, you might want to stop by Collioure on the way. Really charming town on the sea side.
