Budgeting Australia

Hi, im about to start travelling east coast Aus with my girlfriend. We have 3 months booked but thinking we may cut it down to 10 weeks as we are pretty tight on money and dont think we will have enough. We are going to get a greyhound pass and stay in hostels but have only got a visitor visa so not looking to work. Hoping someone has done/ doing a simular thing and how much they budgeted per day. We have around $14,000 aud for the both of us which is about $210 per day. Will this be enough? Let me know cheers!!!

That should actually be a quite decent amount of money for that amount of time, assuming you know how to live on a budget. Specifically, mostly buy supermarket food to cook your own meals, don't go out clubbing, and don't do too many activities (a couple of entrance fees per week is fine, but limit your splurging on skydiving and such to at most once during that entire time).
Keep an eye on actual expenses to see how you're doing over time, but from my experience, most people should manage just fine on that budget.

Thanks for the reassurance! Was gettin kinda worried as i know aus is expensive. Yea without blowing my own trumpet im pretty good with money and keeping track of expenses so hopefully should be ok! Thanks again
