3night stop over; Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpar, Seoul, Singapore?

Hey

They all involve a bit of public transport getting between the sights. KL's transport is the hardest work out of the four, the others are well integrated.

If this trip is soon, Seoul gets pretty cold.

KL may be the worst choice for drinking, as a Muslim country, and I've never noticed a bar scene there though I've not gone looking for it. But it may be the most varied food compared to Beijing. Singapore could be a good choice - chinese ethnic but varied and right next to kl, without the Muslim country thing going on. Plenty of bars there.

HK would be my first choice out of those for a citybreak, but it will be the most similar to Beijing in food!

Sorry if these observations don't narrow it down! :-)

Hi Samson

I have done stopovers in all 4 of those places and all are great cities with excellent transport systems. My top choice would be Hong Kong, but as you're looking for a shift in flavours from Chinese, I'd go for Seoul or Singapore. Both have loads to see and and do, and have great food options. The metro systems in both cities allow you to get around really quickly and easily.

KL has the least interesting attractions of the 4 (in my opinion) but it still a good stopover destination.

Ah thanks for your replies!

I should of said but we will be going there end of April start of May!

I wanted to go Seoul but my Mrs wants to go Singapore!

Thanks for narrowing it down though! At least we can have a discussion on which one we think is best! (Cant wait to go to Singapore)

Both are fascinating places so I'm sure you'll love whichever one you decide! If you decide on Seoul, don't miss a day trip up to the DMZ on the border with North Korea.
