Travelling round Australia from Jaunary 9th for roughly 4 weeks and then moving onto New Zealand for another 4 weeks ( only have so long off work before anyone tells me I need longer ) will be hiring a car and staying in hostels for the month in New Zealand so if anyone wants to travel together and split costs drop me a message

I will be in Australia as of 30th dec (having NYE in Sydney and then travelling up the east coast. Going on to NZ from 2nd feb for 4 weeks after that, then around south east Asia.
What have you got planned for NZ so far?

Hey, haven't really got a plan yet! Probably spend a couple of weeks on each island and see as much as possible as I've never been before, obviously wanna see the obvious things, Queenstown, Milford Sound etc have you got much of a plan??

No not yet - is it bad to say I'm probably going to "wing it"!! I've planned loosely for Australia and I am starting to look properly at NZ now! Trying to work out the best ways of getting around and things it's all very daunting, don't you think?!
