i am Hong Kong resident holding British National overseas passport...similar to British passport but not quite...and i just found out we need visa to enter Bolivia....is it possible to apply for visa on arrival if am doing overland from Argentina...?? Please help....

I highly doubt it but in bolivia you can get anything for a price.
i would be very surprised if you need a visa in advance you almost always get visas on arrival. if not i'm sure they would hint at a bribe to let you in.
I agree it is highly unlikely that you would need a visa with any kind of British passport.
There was talk a while ago about requiring US citizens to have a visa but this has not been put into action as yet.
If you are in Buenos Aires, inquire at the Bolivian Consul if you are still in any doubt.

Hello, I am interested to know what happened to that end, that u are going to Bolivia ? Cuz I will be going in Nov. I am so nervous, and I have heard, don't fly there, but go by bus, cuz in case they deny boarding, u won't lose money in the plane ticket. Please advice .thanks
Erica, no one can give you any advice about Visas when you give no clue of your nationality.
