I've seen people reference websites that someone will pay you to drive their car across the country. I've searched around and couldn't find any site like this...would anyone happen to know of a few? I'm looking to get a car to drive from Louisville to Washington DC or New York City.
Hi, I don't know if this is what you are looking for . What these companies does is that they wrap your car (or theirs) with an advertisment and they pay you for advertise the product while you are driving. When I have filled out the applications it looks like they are interested in people who live in pretty decent size towns and who drive a LOT. Of course they are looking for the best exposure for their advertising so that is to be expected. Some will pay you to wrap your car existing car with their advertising and others will give you a free car with the advertising already on it. Try this companies, just type the name on a google search or something. Sorry I dont't have their address. Be carefull there are some companies that are not trustworthy. DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY TO A COMPANY ASKING FOR A FEE . The real companies that does this do not ask you for money. Good luck

Have used them heaps...great way to travel. I have taken them from San diego, Houston, New Orleans, DC, New York, Seattle. Great way to go.
You must give a deposit (~$200) they usually give you a full tank of gas, and sometimes a fuel credit.
You must have a license (of course) but it is the best way to go. I have gone from one side of the country to the other for $500...class A travel for a backpacker!!

The auto driveaway thing sounds like such a great and economical idea, however....for some really annoying reason i cannot get the page to load. Everytime i type it into the browser, i get an error code and it doesn't work. So i was curious if anyone knows companies that do the same type of thing, or know OTHER websites that offer information for autodriveaway or if there is an email for enquiries on the site that someone can send me so i can email them to ask questions.
Any help would be great!!!! Cheers.
