Volunteerwork in Asia

Hey everybody,

Nathan

Check out the Volunteer newsletter on the following website:

http://www.asiatravel-cambodia.com/

I would recommend Preychrouk school (near Siem Reap, Cambodia) and SAGE with all my heart.

Keith (my boyfriend) and I have just spent an amazing 6 weeks there and it was the most rewarding experience of our lives. For more smiles, have a look at our blog and photos.

Time is the most precious thing that we can give the people of SE Asia. From one volunteer to another, thank you for your kind heart to consider this.

Please do not hesitate to 'PM' me you would like any more info.

Pamela

Hello Nathan

There is a childrens home, near the Burma border, in Thailand, that would likely appreciate your teaching skills. Many of the people living there, are single mothers, from Burma, who would find it very difficult to survive, if it was not for this organisation.
It costs 120 bahts per day, to stay there. This includes 3 vegarian meals, per day.
Their website is www.neohumanistfoundation.org/vidyadharma/
I will private mail u, the email address of the woman who runs it.

Mel

Hiya,

i'm also looking for volunteering work in cambodia this summer, i'm a second year medical student and so would probably be looking for something in terms public health where i could use any skills i might have?? also have experience teaching english in a foreign language and so would be up for doing this as well while I'm there. Any suggestions would be really helpful since trawling through all the gap year ripoffs is almost impossible. It would be great to do something local and genuine.

Thanks
