Road Trip from Doha to London

Anyway, one thing about the question: note that travelling through Saudi Arabia is almost impossible, and your only option is to get a transit visa. You will probably get one when there is no other option to get from Qatar to Jordan (probably first country after SA). other than driving your own vehicle. In that case, you must have purchased that vehicle in Qatar I guess otherwise there are other options to travel to Jordan.

Yeh I will have purchased a car out here in Doha, and I want to take it back to the UK with me, so i hope it won't be to much of an issue to obtain a transit visa. What about car insurances? anyone have any idea?

Hi - I know this message exchange was some time ago but I just wondered if you managed to do the trip by car in the end as I'm hoping to do something similar next year.
