Hey everyone
Not sure how long you will be there for but I recommend taking a ride up to Dahab. It is a more laid back town with great diving. I would definately go. If you are looking for crazy partying then stay in Sharm. If you want laid back beach bars then this your place. If you want to dive check out Big Blue Dahab. I stayed at Penguin resort and it was just fine. If you want more info on Dahab let me know.
Thanks for your message , I would definatly prefer more laid back and relaxed place to stay , Yer id like to know more about dahab definatly , Do you know what the weather is like there march time? im planing to stay for about 6 nights somewhere in egypt just wasn't sure yet , just want some where quiet and relaxing.
If you want relaxing then head up to Dahab. Sharm is a bit more of a party town. Dahab is about an hour north and if you have the cash you take a taxi the whole way, otherwise they have buses that leave every hour or so. Not to sure what the weather will be like in either place as I was there in June. There are some inexpensive accomodations and some expensive ones. You can't go wrong here!
Hi!
Depends what are you looking for in Egypt.
Sharm is more developed, and a bit more crowded - not surprising, international airport is there.
Dahab is North Sinai - ride there can be short (by taxi) but also can take about a whole day if you go by public transport.
March is great about weather - summer is terribly hot in Egypt. The sea is great everywhere in Sinai and temperature of water +/- same all over the year. Dahab is a lil bit "a village".
It seems you don't dive (scuba), but if you do - you welcome to ask questions. I dive in Sinai pretty much and can help you with underwater planning. The basic rule is: more South = better dive
