i've got 12days off for summer holidays and am trying to think of some sort of holiday plan..
seeing this isnt so long i guess europe is a good option but kind of fancy somewhere a bit different..lots of sun, nice scenery, interesting culture, good for travellers, cheap..
For this time period exploring Croatia is the best plan. You can add Montenegro to the South. Or if you're not connected with the visas you can go to Slovenia and Italy - Venice is quite close to be added to the route.
Hi! I have been to Zadar, in Croatia Once and I think it is very beautifull and has alot of history. If you like travelling around you might visit the surrounding countries which will probably be even less expensive than Croatie because croatia is already becoming touristic.
My family has been to Hungary and Slovenia and they were thrilled about it. I guess you can still explore some new stuff over there.

How about flying into Dubrovnik in the south and using busses and ferries to travel north along the coast towards Slovenia. It's not expensive. You don't need to have accommodation booked in advance. It's really beautiful. And finally I believe you'll have the most wonderful time, I know that I did each time I've taken this route.
