My 70 yr old parents and 44 yr old brother are going to be in Austin over the next couple days and they've asked me to research some fun things for them to do and see. They love history, music, and art. Any suggestions for off-the beaten path gems would be much appreciated.
Maybe get them some tickets to an Austin City Limits show.

Never been there but the music scene is very well known. Actually I've heard that Austin is pretty much awesome for a lot of reasons.
