Hey,
Crap! I'm not sure what the heck is going on at the moment, but clearly these slowdowns/crashes are not part of the plan... restarting some stuff now to improve things.
Sorry - I echo Michael's comments about the weekend. Saturday was exceptionally slow - minutes (like 5-10) to load a page. Finally, it took a dive. Couldn't load anything TP. Sunday was much better and today has just had short periods of delay. I took for granted that Saturday was a "redesign upload day" so didn't contact anyone. Sunday, things were running quite smoothly. I've also been stuck making lasagna for Mother's Day so haven't been on most of today. Early this morning there were delays but working really well now...
I also blame my internet connection for most of the trouble just because of where I live. I'm not a good "indicator" of problems because of it.

Feel free to drop us an email or something on the weekends if you notice this, as chances are much better we'll be able to do something about it then. What happened this past weekend was not related to the new development, and the site ended up crashing for 3.5 hours on Saturday-Sunday, with none of the normal warnings coming in Generally the new developments shouldn't cause any slowdowns, though it is kind of sus that the site has had a few hiccups this past week while heavy testing is going on... ARGH!!
Anyway, things should be a lot better now than they were when this thread was started. At least they are for me!!
Yikes, it's happening to me too!!!!
It has been taking up to a minute to load pages (worse last weekend), and it's getting very
A little box at the bottom left says "waiting for pubads.g.doubleclick.net...", that seems to be the holdup for me. BTW, using XP with Chrome as my browser on the Dell laptop. Help. Please. I may start crying....

Argh! Well, must as I can't do anything about google's code (that's the code you noticed beerman), our site was also feeling sluggish again, so hit it up with a restart and it's better again. Too annoying this!!
