Hi guys just wanting an idea of festivals that are a must see, want to do a RTW based on a festival circuit, mainly in The Americas/Canada and Europe since I start in NZ and I won't really be completing the RTW, will just stop and work in Europe for a while. so any ideas would be great.
at the moment i have:
Rio Carnival (February),
New Orleans Mardi Gras (same time unfortunately),
New Orleans Jazz Fest (April/May),
Burning Man (September),
Oktoberfest (October?)
If you are interested in going to canada
Shambhala is in August in interior BC
the calgary stampede is in july in... well calgary AB
Be aware that Burning Man requires quite a bit of preparation and supplies, and it can get quite expensive. That said, it will probably be one of the best weeks of your life if you go.
