No Ties? Join me to see the big wide world!

Hi everyone,

Hi Suzi!

I'm Sarah 24 from Somerset, I'm off to Singapore on my own in September for 5 days before heading up into Malaysia to explore. After that I'm thinking maybe Indonesia before heading to Oz and NZ.

Let me know if you fancy a chat

Sarah

Hi Sarah, nice to hear from you
Your trip sounds good. Any idea how long you are going for, or are you just going to see what happens? Is this your first trip?

Suzi

Hiya

Its my first trip on my own so a little nervous lol. I was thinking maybe a month or so for Malaysia and possibly Indonesia, then about 3 months in Oz, then on to NZ on a whv which will hopefully let me stay a year and work, all being well! Thats the rough idea anyway, subject to change! I want to kind of see where the wind takes me too so gonna be flexible.

Where did you travel to last time? I have my flight booked to Singapore, I get there on 11th September.

I'm hoping I'll have no trouble meeting other people I'm not really into the drink all night and sleep all day appeal that some peeps like to go backpacking for, I dont mind a bit of partying now and again though by all means! But I'm going to see the world and have a great adventure, not spend all my hard earned travelling funds on booze 6 days a week and have a constant hangover lol.

When were you thinking of leaving? Sorry to rabbit on lol

Sarah

Hey Sarah,

Last time I went to Tokyo, Singapore. Christchurch and the Cook Islands. I met lots of cool people but I did get a little lonely on my own which is why I'm looking into meeting people out there this time.

Are you planning to stay in hostels? I'm not planning to drink much either I live in a pub atm so it will be nice to get away from it all. Although I do like to do partying once in a while too. My main objective is to find out what is out there. Life can seem so insignificant sometimes going through the motions, going to work etc etc. But when you look at a world map there is so much more to see. I want to see it all

I'm not sure when to leave to be honest, in a way I could leave anytime, but think I may hold out for a little while. Wasn't sure whether to explore Europe during the our summer then see Singapore again, bit of Asia then time it right for OZ and NZ in their summer Last time I went to NZ it was 6 degrees! Not a big fan of the cold so I decided to wait and go again when it was warmer!

Sorry for the essay!

Suzi

Hey,

I have done that! packing bags and just disappearing without telling anyone but I had to return I was out of cash.

Will fancy doing it once again...

I am 22 male and immature... :D

Lubin

Hey Lubin,

Nice to hear from you

Where are you from? Where did you go to last time?

Suzi

Hi Suzi,

I am from India.

It was not an international trip, just travelled around India but realized that it is too big to cover in one go. Travelled mostly north India. This I have couple of places in my mind – Goa, Pondicherry, Kerela (all India), Thailand (maybe other neighbouring countries too) and Australia.

Really wanna go to Europe and South America as well but dont think if that will be possible for me

Lubin

Hi Lubin,

That sounds cool. Bet India is beautiful.

Suzi

Hey Suzi

I am planning to stay in hostels, especially in Asia. I've booked my first 5 nights in Singapore. Wouldnt mind a bit of camping or campervanning in Oz or NZ as long as i was with someone else! That would be cool.

I went to NZ a few years ago for 3 weeks in their summer and it was lovely, really hot. I figured if i get to oz for around beginning of October, spend a few months there while it gets warm then maybe on to NZ in the new year. Leaves a few more months of lovely weather in NZ before i have to buy a jacket lol!

I'd like to visit Fiji in there somewhere too, maybe between oz and nz.

If you are on facebook I'm on there as Sarah Clinker if you fancy adding me

Sarah
