My boyfriend will stay in South Miami for two days on 25th Feb 2011 and also stay in North Miami for two days on 27th Feb 2011 before we get back to UK.
Well, South Beach is the happening spot--and then visit the Everglades and take an airboat ride then go to the crocodile farms and go to Key West. Also, right now the Miami Heat Basketball games are the happening place since they have some of the top players in the league in LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh.
One of my favorite historic houses is in south Miami.
South Beach is the art deco area and location for many movie and tv shoots including Scar Face and of course Miami Vice. Take a walk around the many restored hotels and the street market on Esplanade.
Coconut Grove in the south of the city is the happening place for night life and the chic shopping.
Little Havana is as its name suggests, the Cuban area of town.
Weather in Feb is great most of the time for the beach, occasional cold snaps though.
Bike? you mean motorcycle or bicycle?
Oh--and don't forget to go to Joe's Crab House and order the Stone Crabs--unbelievably good (and I've never found ones as big any other place I've ever been.)
(And with stone crabs you only eat the claws--and then they throw the crabs back in the bay--and about 1 1/2 years later, the claws grow back to the same size--and you can "harvest" them again. So essentially, they are nature's version of recycling a crab.)
