We are going to Key West on 25th Feb 2011, only for a day, we will use car hire.
Fab place - Key West. It's the most southerly point of the USA Mainland.
Go and meet the Cubans fishing down on the harbour. They are such interesting and friendly guys to talk to. The pelicans sit next to them waiting for fish scraps. There are some great photo opportunities.
The little restaurants on the harbour front are brilliant - and very cheap. You just have to try conk chowder and Key Lime Pie. A perfect lunch.
Swimming is wonderful round there, just watch out for the nasty jellyfish. Theyve no mercy.
Seven Mile Bridge is quite a construction. Guess how long it is?
