45 days in South America. Advice and possibly travelbuddies?

I live in Rio but at the moment im traveling around Argentina. Im sorry I cant tell you much about it now. I believe yopu first need to choose the cities and countried you are really visiting.

Rio is beautiful and amazing, though you have to take some precaustions as a tourist. As bog ities it has its problems. I can suggest more activities later...

Hi everyone.

I'm a 22 year old male from Denmark. I've been traveling Australia and Asia mostly and now I've got the possibility to fly off once again!

Anyway..

I'm planning to travel South America for 45 days starting in Salvador, north of Rio.
From there I just want to go to Rio, then further down the coast, straight in to Iguazu falls, then maybe Buenos Aires.
And then somehow over to Lima to catch Macchu Picchu. And then either fly home from Lima og fly back to Rio to fly from there.

Any sorts of suggestions, ideas, good/bad experiences needed?
Bus-trips? Have anyone tried a similar route? Suggestions to the route, cities to visit etc?
