My husband and I are planning a trip to Geneva, Switzerland and Munich in April. We will be staying with family in Geneva and with a friend in Munich. We would like to spend a couple of days in Austra on our way to Munich.
1. Easy. Yes, try www.bahn.de. If you book in advance you can get discounts - just watch out, these discounted tickets are tied to specific train. If you miss it you'll end up paying the difference between the discounted ticket and the regular price.
2. If you must go to Austria I would suggest visiting Salzburg as a day trip from Munich.
my favourite place is switzerland and i want to go there....i am just planning so please tell me the famous places there..

If you're travelling in April you'd better start booking D-Bahn tickets right now.
They have very good discounts, the tickets between two different countries may cost you from 19 Euro, but those prices may be not available closer to the dates.
