Thank you for all the inputs I have gathered in this website so far. Your insight will be much helpful in assisting me to map my trip to Europe. I guess I am pushing too much to try to visit 11 countries within 2 months.
I plan on doing this trip alone as I want to “conquer” these countries and do things on my own pace. Some of my interests are: sitting down in a café watching the view/landscape and people walking around, enjoying local food and culture visiting the common places (Berlin Wall, Eiffel tower, and major places), once in a while a night out (not at all the purpose of this trip). I am more into cultural than partying.
So, given my travel preferences, I ask you experienced travelers, could you please number from 1 to 11 the countries I ought to visit? 1 being I must definitely visit, and 11 the least likely. I guess I will pick 8 or 9 countries for this 2 months trip.
- ENGLAND – GERMANY – FRANCE – ITALY – SPAIN – PORTUGAL – NETHERLANDS – MOROCCO - SWITZERLAND - PORTUGAL - GREECE
Also, from your similar experience, how much am I to estimate spending on this venture? I plan on staying in hostels and riding the train to go from country to country. Since I will be flying from the US, out of convenience and economical sense, I believe London Heathrow ought to be my starting? Or should I fly in Frankfort? Germany is a must go if my brother decides to join be at some point of my trip to go to Oktoberfest.
Hope you can assist me
Thank you,
