Hello everyone!
Im a 24 year old girl looking to go travelling to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and USA for 6-8 months from September/October 2011. I'm currently planning it alone as most of my family and friends have children or work commitments.
Im hoping to do this on a budget, but would like to travel with a like-minded person who is interested in the same places. I've never travelled alone before and would like to have a companion for some or all my travelling. I'm looking to start in Australia for 3/4 months, New Zealand for 2/3 months, Fiji for 2/3 weeks and then USA (East to west) for 2/3 months!

Hey both
I'm looking at heading to S E Asia and Oz for a few months or so, starting in September.
I was thinking SE Asia first as its closer (!) but would also think about the other way round.
What sort of time frame are you looking at and where are you wanting to go. Are you going to fly between cities, get the train/bus, drive???
