Hey Guys, im 22 girl from Leeds (will be 23 though), im flying out to sydney early september and plan to travel up east coast from mid september time.

I'm a 22 year old girl from Liverpool who will turn 23 in Sept this year. I am graduating from university in July and hoping to begin travelling either August or September. I too want to visit Oz for a significant amount of time depending how things pan out over there. I have family in Brisbane who i would possibly with but also want to travel around Oz... I either want to visit Asia (Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia etc) at the start or end of my trip but it is not somewhere i'd want to go alone. I am a bit nervous about going on my own as well.
Do my plans sound similar to yours??

yeah thats what im planning- i have an uncle who lives in sydney so i am going to fly there beggining of september and then ravell from towards the end of september.
i would love to go to asia too but scared to go alone too. i would go to asia after austrailia as i will be travelling on a whv so i can work over in oz to save more money before going on to asia.
so yeah are plans sound pretty much the same

Yes going onto Asia after Oz probably is the best option money-wise. I would also like to go to Fiji for a few weeks too. Have you booked anything yet? I was looking to fly into Sydney around 3rd September. I will be working full time over the summer to save as much money as possible. Do you have facebook? Might be easier to stay in touch i'm not very good at this ha ha.

omg neither am i, ive not booked yet- are you getting a whv for oz? ive not been on here long, ive seen a very good flight for 5ht sept as that time seems to be cheaper- although i do have to fly from heathrow. all flights from manchester stop at heathrow anyway but there is like a 4 hour wait and its cheaper to fly from heathrow.
