Hiya,
Yes, you can see these places in that time if you already have the necessary visas and have planned where you want to go, with a route that does not keep doubling back on itself. AirAsia is not bad for getting around Asia and flies from Perth to Bangkok, etc. Buses of course take much longer.
June is the start of the rainy season in SE Asia and while you might only get a few days of rain in a week, it can be very heavy. However because of this, rooms and travel are easier and cheaper to get.
Hi
I did some of that trip last year - have posted stuff about HCM city in another thread -
But a place we went to from HCM was Siem Reap in Cambodia - they have so many temples there you will be weary looking at them - though they are amazing
But there are cool places apart from the temples - like the floating villages on the Tonle Sap Lake or the houses built on stilts above the water
This lake during the rainy season is massive -- it just grows and grows -- we were there in the dry season - it was amazing to see houses that during the rainy season are just above the water line - but in the dry season they are 20 feet or more above the road
-snip-
Hope you enjoy
