Hello,
I am looking to buy a flight from London to Denver, Colorado USA round trip. Leave London early June, return late August/early Sept. So far the cheapest I've found is £465. Prices shot up like 3 days ago and the cheapest is £465. Can anyone find anything cheaper, or have any suggestions on when to buy a flight like this?
I did have a quick look and that is a very good price for that time of the year. It's when the kids are off school so the airlines put their prices up as much as they think the market will stand. If you miss that price (it could be gone next month or tomorrow), the next price could be £60 to £100 extra. They don't come down in price but do go up.
Sometimes moving a flight a day or few either way can lower prices with midweek often being cheapest.
Use the calendar option at to find the cheaper days of the month to fly
I've found momondo.com to be helpful when trying to find the cheapest time/airline to fly with as well.
can you go via another airport, what is the main international nearest to denver, from manchester or ireland or go via european airport, like paris or amsterdam. lots of possibilites,
Do you need a direct flight - or are you happy to change planes/airlines on route?
It's possible to do this route for under £400, if your dates are flexible and you don't mind doing stopovers.
Your call.
I am willing to change planes on route, no problems. Dates are flexible. Can you give me some suggestions to find a route for less than £400?
Thanks
