Hi
I am traveling to Havana in a few days:-) Do anyone just been there, and have some good advices for things to see and do?
Havana is a very complex and fascinating city with 2,000,000+ residents and 500+ years of history. It has an extremely vibrant cultural/music/arts scene that caters to almost every taste imaginable.
When you give absolutely no clue whatsoever regarding your age, interests, likes/dislikes, budget, etc. then it's impossible for anyone to offer suggestions. There's a big difference between the ballet at the Grand Teatro and an underground death metal rave...
Cheers,
Terry
A few museums, markets, buses absolutely packed, watch women making cigars, etc. The central area is easy to walk around though there are cabs, and American dollars are prized. A good map is very handy.
The place is a bit old fashioned thanks to the American embargo but life is slow there and I got no hassle at all.
"... and American dollars are prized..."

Absolutely incorrect. USDs haven't been used since 2004 - in fact they're the only foreign currency that suffers a additional 10% surcharge when you exchange them.
Everything you need to know about Money Exchange in Cuba is on my Insider Page here:
