Hey everyone! I'm Laura! (21yrs old) Just come back from travelling solo on my gap year last year .....but i've definitely caught the travel bug!! Travelled alone last year but would love to share the experience with another girl - or even a few of us. Last year i travelled the east coast of Oz, Fiji, Dubai, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Laos. Honestly i had the most amazing year of my life and i'm looking to head off again somewhere for preferably 3 months from June to September. Im currently studying Business Management in Manchester therefore during the summer would be a perfect opportunity! Im really easy going and open to all countries- just absolutely love travelling, meeting new people and can't wait for an amazing summer!

sounds like you're in the same situation as me! im 21 and am planning on going traveling from june to sept 2011!!!.... i go to keele uni so not far from manchester!! have you started making arrangements and things yet?? i've never been traveling but am soooooo excited!!! i can only imagine how amazing its going to be!!!... this is my 21st birthday present so i want to make it a trip to remember!!! but as i said never done it before and am a little lost... HEEELP!!! lol x
Hi Laura , I am planning on going away same months but actually to some of the places you say you went last year.
i was wondering did you book tours or did you just do it all yourself?
im really undecided at the min as im going on my own. think booking a tour would make me alot less nervous ha but id rather have the freedom to see places that interest me at my own pace!!

I have to travel to europe starting from germany to spain in the end via switzerland,rome and paris from 8th march to 19 th march thats my plan? let see if it worksout ok.
I have to travel as my miles are expiring .
so I'll take EUrail in all these connecting countries.

I would like to second navensr. I am doing a verry similar trip to your past trip i am doing most the places you have stated and also South America, did you go for a year? if so what was roughly your budget? i have 8000 for spends I am wondering is this enough for 1 year? I will also be working in Oz to get some extra cash.

I'm also 21 and off for a bit of a belated Gap Year.
I'm off to South America in June to Septmber if you are interested in that area of the world. I would probably be doing Argentina/ Chile/ Peru at that point. Let me know if you have any interest x
