I took a child's photo sitting on a rock in Bobonaro, a mountain district eight hours from Dili, East Timor. She looked very lovely in a yellow sarong, but her eyes were very lonely. I don't know what she was thinking but it must be so deep as she looked into my camera lens. I lost her photo long after but her face still looked fresh in my mind. Some photos last a lifetime.
