Three of us are going on a road trip across Germany at the end of the summer. We are catching the ferry over to Calais and driving to Hannover, Berlin, Munich and Cologne across 17 days. We will be in Munich in time for the opening of the Oktoberfest which I can't wait for! Camping along the way.

Just need some information about driving about Germany - anybody?
well, if you re travel with a private car there are no toll costs. And you don't need to pay for a license ( truck driver over 7,5 t only). Germany is one of the countries , where you have no general speed limit and no cost s for the road ( expections cause the regulations )
Our goverment take s the money via taxes.
