I had a conviction 25 yrs ago for a minor theft act which I have keep a secret to my new family. Now my family want to go to New York this year and I am very worried. I also got a caught drink driving ten years ago which again nobody knows about. Will it be a problem? Will I get refused entry? I can sleep at the moment because of this, can anyone help?
As usual with all questions like this you fail to include the single most important piece of information... what passport do you carry and where are you living?
Also, when does the travel happen?

Forget the theft ever happened. Wipe it from your memory banks. US Immigration has no way to dig up at record.
The drunk driving is not an issue. US Immigration doesn't care because it's not a crime of moral turpitude.
If you're still nervous and you're close to the US Embassy then apply for a Waiver of Inadmissibility. It'll be rubber stamped with no issues - but you need to apply immediately.
