I have a question concerning detailed information about immigrating temporally to Australia (only holidays). I live overseas and left OZ one and a half years ago in debt (38.000$). I need to return to OZ though for a couple of weeks and therefore I wasn't sure if they pull me out at the airport when they scan my passport. I did get a criminal record check from the AFP and it's "clean", which means: I don't have any criminal record and no PENDING CHARGES in Oz. But: "pending charges" means: Charges where a person has been charged with an offence (not just where an offence is being investigated) and the case has proceeded to the point where a court date has been set.
